5 Personal Photos

This photo is of my best friend and I. The blue and red represents our contrasting personalities, which I love. It gives a sense of yin and yang.

The way the sunset cascades over this town makes it seem as if it is announcing that the town is going to sleep, tired from the adventure the day had given to its inhabitants. It makes me feel relaxed just looking at it.

The focus is on the town as my father looks over at it. The way he looks over at it makes him look nonchalant, as if saying a happy goodbye. What I like is that I feel like it displays his personality perfectly, simple contemplation.

This photo was taken on a cruise ship and captures the man in a close to dreamlike state. The clouds above seem ethereal and the man looks lost in his thoughts, oblivious to the happenings around him. What I love about this is the fact that there are so many enjoyable activities on a cruise, yet the man chose to just bask in the scenery.

Close to the shore, the fisherman is moments away from casting his line. What I like most is the contrast of the man and the rocks against the horizon.

5 Professional Photos

Taken by Maxwell Swift. I love the effect the lighting gives. It makes the viewer wonder what the girl is looking at so dearly. The way the lighting shows half of her face gives a touch of mystery.

Taken by Joey Lopez. I love this photo because it shows the girl enjoying herself. She is relaxing and having the ideal vacation. I want to set my mindset to be as calm as this in all situations.

Taken by Instagrammer cvatik. It shows the girl curled up in sadness and desperation as she lies down at the very bottom of a staircase. I am attracted to this picture because it captures her at the lowest of lows. She has fallen to the bottom and has no energy to get back up. This kind of feeling I relate to a lot.

Another photo taken by cvatik. This shows another girl with half her body in cloudy water. She seems to distort her hands in front of her chest, and she looks at the camera as if it was something she had never seen before. However her eyes has the aura of a fighter. That's what I like. I want to be able to push through even in the face of the unknown.

Taken by Instagrammer vvittik. The girl seems to gaze at a spiderweb and caress it with wonder. Even though we can't see her face, she seems to show curiosity in the web. What I love about this picture is that it reminds me to always be curious and never stop learning.
