Contextual studies is the study of meaning and the purpose behind something. It is the study of critiquing; of identifying a problem. It is to analyze a certain situation.
For me, I view the subject as a way of building my critical thinking skills. It is, for one, very useful in my future studies and work. I do tend to get lazy and submit half-assed work, so hopefully with this class I'll make it a habit to notice the problems with my work and correct them.
